Gifts Of Perception

In light of this holiday season, I felt a prompting in the Spirit to maintain my course of kingdom revelation. This does not mean that I do not value the spirit of this season and all of the wonderful spiritual insights that are a part of it, but I feel my greatest gift to the body in this time is to stick to the road of revelation that the Lord has me on.

Therefore, if you will, view this blog as “gifts of perception” for the pleasure of your continual maturation in the kingdom of God.

Living Eternally Free

Many of you have emailed me concerning your discontentment in your business/ ministry/relationships. You have equally expressed your disappointment concerning your children, parents or other family members. Some of you especially expressed your frustration with the spiritual leadership that you have been involved with over the last years.

While I am sure you have a mountain of reasons to express concern, disappointment, or even blame. I want to caution you in your attempts to do so.

Often times when people are expressing their dissatisfaction about the performance of others, whatever the case may be; it is often a sign of their own lack of personal contentment or spiritual maturity. This immaturity includes the lack of intimacy in the Spirit that is not fulfilling the deepest longing in one’s heart.

To the level you are personally frustrated, disappointed, or discontented with the people in your life, whatever their role may be, that is the level of power they have over you.

For example, our daughter has been in a very challenging position for the last couple of years. Needless to say, it has been somewhat of an emotional roller coaster for all of us. However, through it all, both Lori and I have found a place in the Spirit, in the Kingdom God, that enables us to walk in full confidence concerning God’s intended purpose toward her. Mind you, the challenge was to get past the disappointment, the feelings of hurting emotions, even the need to fix her. For us, it was a matter of entering into a place of trust and confidence in the Lord and viewing her from that perspective. Even on the heels of yet another recent challenging episode, we realize that as much as we love her, we are no longer a prisoner of that love in terms of personal progress. God, You are awesome!

For me, it is the endless revelation of spiritual ecstasy, the bountiful reality of my eternal state, as well as the eternal state of those around me, that enables me to live, not just with, but in a spirit of liberty.

For years, more often than not, many have tried to lure me into a life of personal performance, wanting me to meet the personal expectations in their life. The continual result, more often than not, is me having more power over their life, whether I wanted it or not.

Please hear me. As you venture deeper into the endless glory of God’s kingdom, you will discover a love, freedom, and confidence that is beyond your wildest imagination. For the most part, this glorious adventure for me has just begun. One thing is for certain, without that deeper reality in your life, those closest to you are destined to fail you one way or another, repeatedly.

Therefore, in this coming year, if you haven’t already, let me encourage you to grow up into a level of personal fellowship and intimacy with the Lord where you can truly live eternally free from the neediness of the soul.

In The Beginning…

As I have looked further into certain Hebrew words and expressions of the Bible, I have discovered some unique findings.

In some of my previous writings, I wrote to you about the “Beginning” as referenced in Genesis 1:1 “In the Beginning.” In the Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word Beginning is “reshyith” which means, “the first, in place, time, order, or rank.

However, according to the ancient Hebrew pictographic language and in the context of the nomadic culture from which the language and narratives arose, Beginning appears as “reshit” which means, “within, in, or inside of.” Therefore, instead of “In the Beginning God created…” it would read, “Within the Beginning God created…” This changes the word Beginning from a place in time to an entity.

This gives us a greater understanding as to why the word Beginning in this particular text is capitalized. This means that the Beginning existed before creation and has always existed. While this might not seem like a very big deal to some, I think it is a huge deal. After all, the Beginning just went from being the first in line to a realm or entity where first things come from.

I know these little details have a way of making a lot of people uncomfortable, especially in the common Christian community. However, you might as well get used to the idea that many things that appeared right side up are about to appear upside down.

Dualistically Challenged

Some of you have also asked me about “dualism” and my thoughts on it. While I really have little to say about the subject (since it is being taught by so many these days) I will add this little bit of information the Lord has given to me on the subject. Like many other spiritual characteristics in the kingdom of God, a dualistic view is extremely far reaching in terms of how we view the natural and spiritual realm. While there are some dualistic perspectives that I am reluctant to buy into, there are others that I am not.

A few years back I wrote a simple book titled, “The Positive and Negative Equation of God’s Kingdom.” The purpose in writing this book was to point out the simple fact that it takes good and evil, positive and negative, to realize the glory of God in the depth and manner that He wants us to know it.

For the most part, the western mind has dualistically seen negatives as bad and to be completely avoided or eliminated. It sees the positives as good and something for everyone to accept and seek after.

However, the Eastern mind sees the negatives and positives as very important ingredients for true peace. In my book, I described how everything known to man has a negative and positive charge holding it together. Virtually anything which comes to your mind has some form of positive and negative force working in it.

Thus, a powerful Kingdom equation that has always been, even before time.

The Whole Body

Then there is the subject of the “whole body” of Christ. I find it interesting how some people downplay a dualistic perspective concerning spirit and soul (meaning they are to function as one) but are not willing to do so when it comes to the body of Christ. In other words, many view the body of Christ in heaven, apart from, the body of Christ on earth. When in fact, there is only one body in Christ, not two.

In Ephesians 4:15-16 we read,

”…but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”

I think it is important to note that the whole body is being fitted together in Christ, in heaven and on earth. This means that every joint, whether in heaven or on earth, is interactively contributing to the entire body of Christ. Those who are of a dualistic perspective do not carry this view. They see the body of Christ on earth operating separately from the body of Christ in heaven. However, this would imply that ultimately, in terms of Spirit, we are not all one in Christ.

Stay tuned for the “land of the giants” and “breaking a covenant with death.

Lori and I truly pray that this Christmas and New Year will prove to be a glorious time of extended heavenly revelation for you and your families. It is our hope that any impending opposition against your life will find its end for the last time. We love you and are grateful for you and all that you carry in the Spirit.

If you are looking for another worthy cause to plant some financial seed into before this year ends, we would ask you to consider this ministry and the increasing influence it is having worldwide.

Thank you for making us a part of your life,

We love you,

Michael, Lori and Mountain Top International[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
