Come Out Of The War With Flesh And Blood!

Adolf Hitler is noted as saying, “Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way around, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise.”

We live in an age when many across the isle of this nation, and the world, are being seduced “through clever and constant application of propaganda.”

Adolf Hitler eventually gave himself over to a demonic influence that caused him to believe if the future was narrowed down to a single ethnic group of people, then it would equate to a more perfect society.

Of course, this extreme deception was nothing more than a genocide attempt to destroy millions of Jews.

Through this dark mind of belief, Germany would eventually be seduced into believing they could produce a pure race, and by doing so, a better nation.

This resulted in a nightmare of death of over 5 million Jewish people. This horrific period of absolute torment lasted over a four-year period. No one really knows for sure how many actually died.

Most in the world today look back on this horrific slaughter of innocent life wondering why so many people could ever give themselves over to such a dark deceptive hatred toward the human race. Many do not realize that Germany was also subjected to the intense propaganda of its day.

Throughout the existence of time, you can easily follow similar trails of death where mankind wrestled with flesh and blood in hope of gaining victory over anyone that opposed their efforts of gaining some sort of spiritual or governmental advancement.

As I have reflected back on some of these darkest moments in time, I’ve come to realize that some of these same characteristics are still present in our day.

Though I strongly believe we are continually advancing toward a greater glorious future, I also believe it is necessary to not under estimate the intentions of evil.

The Apostle Paul writes,

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Now matter how you categorize the opposing forces listed in this passage of scripture, the emphatic point of it’s intent is that “our struggle is “NOT” against flesh and blood…”

As long as we continue to believe in a propaganda that states, it is “us against them” or “right against left” then we are in danger of embracing a political and religious hatred, so great, many could find themselves justifying future actions of eliminating their opponent at all cost. These extreme actions are presently coming from both sides of the fence.

While I’m certainly not in anyway comparing God to Hitler (intentions are everything) God is known for his extreme actions of wanting to preserve his likeness and purpose in humanity.

“Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. And the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will blot out man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—every man and beast and crawling creature and bird of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.” (Genesis 6:5-7)

Believing in the importance of preserving His likeness and glory toward a better covenant, only Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. The result was a massive cleansing from a flood of water that destroyed an untold number of people on the Earth.

Again, we see God’s intent to reset the nation of Israel by offering to totally inialate them from the living equation, save Moses. Such an aggressive act of preservation was more than Moses was willing to agree with. History shows how the intervention of Moses could have proven to be in God’s best interest.

Even though Joshua had acquired many victories through the conquering of flesh and blood, he was still unable to lead Israel into this destined place of rest.

“For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.” (Hebrew 4:8-9)

Here we can see the eternal rest for the people of God was not a day, but a person, namely Jesus Christ, who would soon afford mankind an eternal resting place in Him.

Through all of God’s determination to preserve a people into a state of perfected rest and harmony, his proven path to righteousness, thus obedience, would only come through the power and love of Jesus Christ.

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  (1 John 4:9-11)

This brings me to this important point.

The only resolve of fully dismantling any past, present and future evil, has, and will only come through the manifested Son of God.

“…To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

Not through the Law, rules and regulations, the United States Constitution, or through some other legal act, At the very best, these things are a mere tutor toward entering into the eternal covenant of God’s love.

“God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son…” (John 3:16)

Therefore, I feel greatly impressed to warn the body of Christ of a warring mindset in Christianity that has the potential and determination to entrench itself into the belief that destroying the opponents of God (flesh and blood) are the ultimate solution of heaven on earth.

This could not be further from the truth.

Right now, there is a trumpet call from heaven to come out of the war with flesh and blood!

I believe one of the highest evaluations of heaven’s intent toward his people is upon us right now.

“Are we learning to love with the love of God in a way we have never loved before.”
